Healing Doctrine - Crisis Checklist - There are worse things than dying

«Return to Healing Checklist | Crisis Checklist | Printer Friendly

Anytime we discuss the subject of healing we have to touch on the subject of death and dying.  After all, it is appointed to men once to die [Hebrews 9:27].   God uses death to confirm firstfruits to the Kingdom of God.  God rejoices at the death of a firstfruit for this very purpose [Psalms 116:15]. In the Matthew Henry commentary on this verse it says, "God often wonderfully prevents the death of his saints when there is but a step between them and it; he takes special care about their death, to order it for the best in all the circumstances of it.
