If you
decided to stay at the Colonial Ridge Resort you must say you are with the Garner Ted
Armstrong conference group and say that you want the room rate quoted to
Murray Allatt.
Those rates are :
The Colonial Ridge Resort offers 42 well appointed self contained two
bedroom cottages . The prices quoted for the available cottages are :
For 8 nights ( leaving directly after the Last Great Day ) - $800.
For 9 nights ( leaving the day following the Last Great Day –
recommended) - $900.
When booking ask to speak with Shannon, if she is available, the events
manager for the resort.
This property was fully renovated inside and out in November 2004. The
cottages and the whole property are looking very good indeed. We
inspected the property before proceeding with the Feast booking. The
conference centre, which we are obtaining for a very reasonable rate, is
in an elevated position on the property and provides panoramic views
over Port Stephens, past Nelson Bay, and out to the ocean. As you will
read when you go to the linked website for the Resort, it features a
very attractive salt water swimming pool and three tennis courts. This
site will represent a significant improvement on our previous Feast
location at the Landmark which served us well for two years. It is hoped
most if not all Feast goers will be able to book into the resort
accommodation which will make attendance at services much simpler and
encourage greater socializing between our scattered brethren. We look
forward to seeing you there.

Activities at the
Feast this year may include a dolphin cruise within Port Stephens
enclosed waters , a whale watch cruise on the high seas , a trip to
some Hunter valley wineries and many other possibilities. The area is
replete with beautiful beaches to walk along ( you might like a bracing
swim also ) and many bush walking possibilities. There are also
restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
This year we have reserved 15 cottages which are available to be booked
by Feast goers immediately with a 50% deposit not payable until July
2006. Any cottages not booked by July will most likely be released for
general bookings by the Resort. Due to school holidays coinciding with
the Feast in 2006 accommodation in the Port Stephens area generally will
be at a premium. Whether you intend to stay at the Colonial Ridge Resort
or at other accommodation in the area it would be wise to book early."
