FEAST 08 – MYRTLE BEACH
FESTIVAL ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT,
IS COMING TO MYRTLE BEACH S.C. 2008,
In past years we have found we have talented individuals in
God’s Church. Several have played professionally, on stage
or even had a band.
So why not share your talent, in pickin, & grinning,
singing, and playing your musical instruments, and
performing on stage during the Feast? Back in the old days,
Garner Ted Armstrong brought the BUCK OWENS SHOW including
the stage crew to Norfolk, Virginia, and performed for God’s
church, one night during the Feast. It was great fun and
wonderful evening.
So all you talented individuals, get all your musical
instruments out from under the bed or closet, blow the dust
off and begin practicing. HERE’S THE PLAN: On Monday
evening Oct 13th starting at 7:00 PM, all during the Welcome
and Hospitality night, we plan to have a try-out stage set
up, and all the musicians and singers will be performing,
playing, as we enjoy a sing along type evening.
So start practicing 1, 2, 3, or 4 of your best numbers. The
music does not necessarily have to be religious hymns or
gospels. Western, country or any clean, fun song is fine.
At the Feast we will be lining up the acts or groups to
perform in the FESTIVAL ENTERTAINMENT SHOW. The date for
the show will be determined as we get closer to the Feast.
The individual who will be organizing the show is none other
than, John Proffitt from Kingsport, Tennessee. John is a
very talented singer and player of musical instruments, as
we found out at last year’s Feast.
