amenities included in most rooms are microwaves and

Description:
WELCOME
to the Pikes Peak area, from Jim and Dee Ozburn, owners of
Falcon Meadow RV Campground. The family started this
campground in 1959 and have been happy camping ever since.
Our thirty-six site campground is at 6,800 feet altitude
looking across the 20,000 acre Banning-Lewis ranch with
America's peak, Pikes Peak (14,110 feet altitude) in the
background. We are a small rural family campground on the
high plains of Colorful Colorado that is open all year.
Our roads are gravel and our meadow is buffalo grass and
dandelions with some yuccas and a few trees. We are a quiet,
simple campground with big sites (RV and tent) and more big
sights (Pikes Peak and the front range) of Colorado. We have
a big full hook-up plus pull-thrus for the big rigs
(20-30-50 amp) and tent sites big enough to spread out. We
have a great convenience food store. Our WI-FI is free and
covers the entire park. We sell gasoline, propane (bottles
and for motor homes), ice, and wood. We have a new handicap
accessible restroom/shower unit. The rec-room has a
broadband cable for your lap top and cable TV. Your TV
antenna should pick up over six channels. We have a play
area and plenty of room to walk your well behaved dog. The
central fire pit is for all to enjoy.

The Garden of the Gods Campground has been owned by the
Murphy family and operated as a campground resort since
1967. We're proud of the reputation we have gained for warm
hospitality and memorable good times, and we offer the
perfect location from which to see the Pikes Peak region.
The days are warm, but the nights get chilly, so be sure to
bring a jacket.
Touring Colorado by car? You'll love the savings and
informality of our camper cabins - plus all the amenities of
a 5 Star camper's resort. We offer 12 "camper cabins" with
electricity only, a front porch, furnished with a double bed
and two bunk beds to sleep four. Also an eating booth that
can be adjusted to bed a small child. No pets, no smoking,
and please bring your own linens.
You can enjoy coffee and donuts every morning, ice cream
socials, barbeques, as well as entertainment and other
activities. Everyone can enjoy the heated swimming pool and
the adults can relax in the hot tub. We have three separate
shower/laundry facilities well-positioned throughout the
campground, two of which are handicapped accessible. These
facilities are professionally cleaned twice a day.
Our other amenities include wireless internet and an
internet room (both are free for guests of the campgrounds),
a playground, basketball court, game room, 74 phone sites,
and two pavilions for those get-togethers.
We're an in-city campground ideally located between
Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs and surrounded by a
stone wall with a privacy fence. We're adjacent to the
spectacular Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, which rises
14,110 feet high, providing a dramatic backdrop. Fantastic
Seven Falls and the mysterious Cave of the Winds are but a
short drive from our gates. A scenic spin up Interstate 25
brings you to the Air Force Academy where you may tour its
museums of history and its exquisite, many-spired Chapel.
When you return from the Air Force Academy, we suggest you
visit the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
Another pleasant drive takes you to Cripple Creek, one of
the greatest gold mining districts the West has ever known.
The once run-down buildings have now been transformed as a
result of licensed gambling coming to Colorado. Walk down
lively Bennett Avenue and enjoy the historically restored
casinos, shopping, or an ice cream parlor.
We certainly would like to include your family among our
guests here at the campground. It is best to make
reservations in advance, especially if you plan to vacation
in June, July, or August. We are open year round though.
