Friends and Brethren, Greetings from sunny east Tennessee. The Intercontinental Church of God would like to invite you to a youth weekend in the Smoky Mountains. We are opening our doors to all Church of God families and any and all friends of the church. It is to be held August 2-3, 2008. Sabbath services will be held August 2nd at 2:00 PM Eastern time, at the Comfort Inn on Hwy. 66 in Sevierville, Tennessee. Mr. Kelly Pierson from the Kingsport area and Mr. Shawn Stephens from the Cookeville area, are our main speakers and we’ll have a presentation by young Tim Butler as well. After the service and supper, we invite you back to the meeting hall for a Karaoke sing-along – Saturday evening from sunset until 11:00 PM. Sunday, August 3rd, we will be heading to Dollywood in nearby Pigeon Forge. We already have enough people to qualify for the group rate of $41.25 (tax included) for 12 years of age and up. The rate for children 4 to 11 is $33.25 (tax included). Three years and younger get in free. Friends, family, young and old are sure to have fun. The group will meet at the main entrance to Dollywood at 9:30 AM. For those staying the night, the Comfort Inn is offering the ICG a discounted rate of $73.60 (tax included). Please mention the GTA Evangelistic Association or the Intercontinental Church of God names to receive the discount rate. In addition the hotel will “comp” the meeting hall if we book twenty or more rooms. If you have any questions, please contact Timothy Butler at (865) 335-3355 or Shawn Stephens at (615) 495-3237. Below are the details for the Comfort Inn. Bring the kids and we’ll see you there. |
