1/4 C honey or pure maple syrup
1/2 t ground cloves
1/3 C corn oil
1 3/4 C whole wheat flour
1 t cinnamon
1 egg
1 C raisins
1 C thick applesauce
1/2 t salt I C nuts (optional)
Directions:
Beat honey, oil and egg together. Sift dry ingredients together and
add spices. Lightly stir in raisins, nuts and applesauce. Spoon batter
into oiled 9" x 5" loaf pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350� .
