Unleavened Biscuits
 
Ingredients:
 
1 C flour, sifted
1/2 C cornmeal
1/2 t salt
4 T shortening
1 egg
Milk
 
Directions:
 
Mix all together, adding enough milk to make a medium stiff dough. Roll out about 1/4" thick. Cut out. Place on a slightly greased pan. Oil the tops. Bake about 8 minutes in a preheated oven of 425° .
