Spoon Bread
 
Ingredients:
 
1 C cornmeal
1/2 t salt
2 C boiling water
2 T butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 C cold milk
 
Directions:
 
Preheat oven to 450° . Combine cornmeal, salt and 2 cups boiling water. Stir for a minute, remove from heat. Add butter, beat well, Add eggs and cold milk. Pour into buttered baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes.
