Topic: God's promise
Introduction: God does heal and will continue to heal, as long as there are humans and need, but there is no absolute guarantee that God will heal in all cases and circumstances.  Sometimes God will allow the firstfruit to die to confirm the individual to the Kingdom.  One's obedience, faith and attitude are all factors in what might happen, but God's own will is the supreme factor.

Conclusion: Key points:

It is important to obey God.

Many of the Old Testament promises about healing are national rather than individual and are conditional.
We must keep in mind that God is looking far beyond the human factor to the Kingdom of God and a family of eternal beings.
Faith is not a guarantee that God will heal in every individual situation.
God's will and purpose are the supreme factors in what will happen in any given situation and circumstance.
